ENTITIES strikes to one of the staples of the web -- gathering and manipulating data. At first blush, the easiest way to describe it is say it's a web form service, but it does much more than your average form builder. ENTITIES eliminates the labor involved in building the form, the Javascript validations, the server-side validations (most forms don't do this well enough if at all) and all aspects of communicating with the database, INCLUDING automatically building and modifying the tables as needed.

 

ENTITIES includes a plethora of field types, including but going way beyond the standard types. For example, I will soon add a Microsoft Word-like editor entity field type in addition to the existing types: (integer, text, textarea, money, checkbox, google_map (binds to address lines in the form), date, date_popup (nice, clean DHTML pop-up calendar), month, year, email, url, domain, creditcard, ccv, us-phone, us-postalcode, file_upload (optionally restrict file size and types of files accepted), lists (global and private lists -- optionally subscribe private lists to global lists -- standard global lists include: countries, us-states, canadian provinces, zip codes (soon to bind to whichever fields you wish to represent city/state)).

 

Forms can be easily pulled from any PHP or ColdFusion site with a simple function call. You can make the edits necessary in your site to include the supplied functions and calls to them -- or we can do it for you, free of charge.
